Law of Attraction: Money Manifestation

I haven’t written about the law of attraction for a while and to be honest I’ve only been working on it for money manifestation. Every day I say to myself at least once, (often multiple times) ‘money comes easily and frequently’. I especially focus on this when I think I can’t afford something. I try to refocus that disappointment with a big breath and say my mantra and what do you know… it’s working! If you need some convincing then keep reading because this is my law of attraction update for money manifestation.

money manifestation

Money I’ve manifested in the past month:

  • Lady at Lenards stamped all the spaces on a frequent buyer card so I get $6 off next time I buy chicken.
  • Chicken purchased from Coles went off before the use by date so I got a refund plus free chicken (sensing a theme here).
  • My friend picked up a $20 note off the ground in front of us so we got free coffees.
  • Last time I went to the supermarket everything was on special plus I got $10 off that shop thanks to bonus reward points.

If you’re still with me, it gets even better:

  • We got $50 off our next gas bill for changing the company.
  • I rang up Foxtel and asked for a discount and they gave me $25 off per month for the next 12 months.
  • I used my flybys rewards card and the cashier said I got a bonus $100 off thanks to Coles insurance!

Now if I hear you shouting ‘it’s a coincidence you idiot’ then how do you explain this:

  • I found $824.74 in a bank account which was empty only a couple of weeks ago. It’s an account I haven’t used in over three years and I can’t work out where the money has come from because there are no transactions in all the online statements available to me. It’s linked to my shares and I only discovered it because I was checking to see what price they were.

So basically I’m blown away with my efforts, over $1000 worth of cash and discounts in the past month. Oh and just in case you need one more reason to start using the law of attraction for money manifestation. Yesterday I was thinking I really wanted a new pram and whilst writing this my husband sent me a text to ask if we want his friend’s pram, he didn’t even know I wanted one!

Do you use the law of attraction? I love hearing stories about what people have manifested!

That time I was an accidental drug trafficker

Quite a few years ago I was in Thailand and had the worst flu of my life. An all-nighter at a full moon party didn’t help much either so when fever set in I went to the chemist for something to help me sleep. A box hidden in another box was retrieved from the back of a bottom shelf and I was given a clear bag with blue pills. I nervously asked what they were and was told Valium. I yelled out to my friend outside ‘should I get Valium?’ and she yelled back ‘if you can get it’ so I bought them and boy did I have a great sleep! I never knew that I was going to become an accidental drug trafficker.

When it was time to leave Thailand, I thought I would pop a couple of Valium for the flight home which wasn’t the smartest thing to do because I was completely out of it but my friend took care of me and it was the quickest plane trip of my life. I arrived at Perth airport still in-a-grog and remembered that I had a couple of Valium somewhere in my bag. Not wanting to be arrested for drug importation I decided to answer yes to the question asking if you have any illegal drugs. I went through passport control with my travel card and the man looked at me in shock confirming I had meant to circle the illegal drugs part. Yes I stated, still a bit out of it. He asked me what illegal drugs I had and I told him Valium but I didn’t have a script. He said he was going to call his supervisor because no one had ever circled yes before. He closed his counter and I was escorted straight to customs.

The supervisor and the passport control man just looked at the blue pills and asked about the packaging. I said it came like that and then I started to get nervous. I suddenly worried they could be something else and I could get in real trouble here. Why didn’t I throw them in the customs bin when I got off the plane? (Secretly I was hoping to keep them). They called their drug expert who looked at them and asked me what they were. I explained how I bought them in Thailand and he laughed asking if they worked and I said yes and then we all laughed together. I’m not sure if they were laughing with me or at me but they said they would confiscate them and I was ushered through in record time. Talk about VIP treatment.

I bought my wedding dress before I was engaged

Most people say it’s bad luck for the groom to see the wedding dress before the big day so I really hope that’s not true!

One day I was having brunch with two of my best friends and we decided to have a look at some dress shops. We went into a nice boutique and among the formal gowns I saw THE dress. It was Eileen Kirby and it was what I had always imagined my wedding dress to be. It didn’t take a lot of encouragement for me to try it on and when I did it fit perfectly. I looked at the others with the biggest smile on my face and we decided I should get it. I asked the lady who worked there if I could put it on lay-by, she said sure then asked when the wedding was. I had to admit I wasn’t engaged ‘but I do have a boyfriend’ I said sounding desperate as they come. The look on her face was priceless, she told me the dress needed to be paid off and collected within 6 weeks. I assured her that I definitely would be coming back to get the dress.

Wedding Dress

Four weeks later I went with my friends from work to collect the dress. They all oohed and aahed about how lovely it was. A few giggles about when I was going to wear it but I just knew I would be getting married one day and this was the dress I would be married in. I was so excited to have it and carefully laid it down in the boot of my car. On the way home from work I was going to drop it off at my parents house but it was really stormy and traffic was bad, I didn’t want to have an accident with my beloved dress in the back so I decided to drive straight home and worry about it in the morning.

The next morning my boyfriend called me at 5am, he had just left the house to go to work so I woke up in a daze. He said the boot of my car was open and water was pouring inside but he closed it. Nothing wakes you up in the morning like your boyfriend discovering a secret wedding dress! So my heart started beating really really fast and I asked him what was in the boot. He said ‘Some white dress in a plastic bag’. I said it must be my grandmothers clothes (it did have a vintage look to it). He didn’t even question me! Phew I was off the hook. Haha my secret wedding dress was still a secret!

I immediately ran outside to get the dress, luckily the plastic cover (not bag) had protected it so it was only slightly damp. I got ready for work and on the way dropped the dress off at my parents house. I hung it up in their stairwell to dry. My parents were pretty much like WTF are you doing with a wedding dress and mum was really concerned I was setting myself up for disappointment. I was really defensive ‘he already has the ring!’ but looking back now buying a wedding dress before a proposal was pretty ambitious, even for me.

I went to work and as I sat at my desk, my boyfriend called again and I started to panic. Basically he was ringing to make sure that I was at work because he was worried my car battery could be flat from the boot light being on all night. Phew he had no idea.

Luckily the dress was fine, he proposed a year later, the wedding shoes I had bought (6 months before I got the dress) matched, we got married and so far happily ever after!

Law of Attraction – Update

Ok so I wanted to update you with how I am going with the law of attraction. I started off really strong and enthusiastic but stopped the 100 days of happy on Instagram when I went on my honeymoon as I didn’t have internet connection out at sea! I was too lazy to write in my journal (I just thought about each item) and wasn’t grateful for for 10 things each night. I only thought about a couple and then fell asleep.

Every day I was going to:

1. Do 100 days of happiness on Instagram.

2. In the car whilst driving I will listen to ‘the secret’ audio.

3. I will write in my gratitude journal the 5 items I want to achieve.

4. Throughout the day I will imagine my list of achievements has already come true.

5. Before going to sleep I will think of 10 things I am grateful for that happened during the day.

6. I will not try to problem solve or guess how these things will come about, I will leave it to the universe to bring them to me.

7. I will be consistent and specific in my thinking patterns about the 5 items I want to achieve.

Now when it comes to the items I wanted to achieve, I didn’t get business class upgrades for the honeymoon. I even requested an upgrade with Qantas points on the way there and back but nothing. I need to replace that with something else – Inner peace & positivity. In the audio ‘the secret’ they said that you need inner joy and peace before you can achieve the outer things so I think this is a good direction to go in.

The 5 items I wanted to achieve:

1. Have clear, beautiful skin.

2. Achieve 1000 followers on Instagram by October 2015.

3. Get business class upgrades for honeymoon.

4. Be confident, happy and content with work.

5. Get $1,000,000 Australian dollars in 2015.

I have to admit I actually had a secret number 6 which was to get pregnant so I do feel like I have achieved something on the list! My skin has gone bad since the pregnancy but I am hoping a change in skincare will assist with that. To get instagram followers I really should start posting frequently. I am confident, happy and content with work – maybe because I know I’ll be going on maternity leave in 5 months! As for the million dollars.. wish me luck in lotto tonight :)
